From Latin brevis meaning 'short' + Greek keras (κέρας) meaning 'horn' + ops (ὤψ) meaning 'face'; overall meaning 'short horned face'.
Breviceratops is a genus of protoceratopsid dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous in what is now the Baruungoyot Formation, Mongolia.
