  Gives the horizon as the Potton Nodule Bed, "probably reworked from beds of Neocomian age", and diagnoses the genus by "a very deep depression in the top of the arch posterior to the prezygapophyses".

  Gives the type locality as the brick-pit of Swindon Brick and Tile Co. at the foot of Old Swindon Hill, with a grid reference; says the exact horizon is not known.
