Datousaurus

Dong & Tang, 1984 DAH-TOH-SAWR-us

From Malay datu ('chieftain') + Greek sauros ('lizard'), meaning 'chieftain lizard' or 'big-head lizard'. The name also puns on the Chinese da tou ('big head'), referring to the animal's large skull.
